Pence to Look Into Carrier Move to Mexico

By Network Indiana | Published on in Uncategorized

(INDIANAPOLIS) Governor Mike Pence plans to review Carrier’s flight from Indiana. The company is relocating its plant in Indianapolis to Mexico. Pence says he was “profoundly disappointed” by a decision costing more than 2100 Indiana workers their jobs. He has ordered a review of job training contracts that gave the company state and federal tax dollars–options will be explored for getting that money back. And a statewide alliance of heating and air conditioning contractors has condemned Carrier’s decision as “short-sighted” saying that it “fails to account for changing market conditions.”
