(INDIANAPOLIS) – Starting March 19, if you have a 317 area code phone number, you will need to start using all ten digits rather than seven to make local calls. The change is necessary so the new 463 area code can be added this September 17^th. Projections suggest the supply of “317” numbers will run out by year’s end.
