Kokomo Bank Robbed Tuesday Afternoon During Officer’s Funeral

KOKOMO, Ind. – The bank was only eight miles away from hundreds of police officers attending the funeral of Deputy Carl Koontz, but that didn’t stop one bank robber who reportedly pulled out a gun and held up a Key Bank in Kokomo, Tuesday afternoon. Now, police need your help finding him. Officers say the robber is a black male who is 5-foot-11. He was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, red t-shirt, blue jeans and light-colored shoes. Investigators believe he’s responsible for other bank robberies in Howard and Carroll Counties. If you have any information, please contact Kokomo Police.
