One of The Nation’s Snobbiest Small Towns is in Indiana, Says Website
(NORTH CROWS NEST) – Indiana has one of the snobbiest small towns in America. North Crows Nest was ranked number 4 on the list of 10 snobby cities in the U.S. according to areavibes.com.
The report was published Tuesday and is based on criteria like wealth, and educated residents that live near lots of theatres, art galleries and private schools. North Crows Nest is a town in Washington township in northern Marion county. It has existed as an “included town” since 1970 when it was incorporated into Indianapolis as part of Unigov, the joint city and county government in Marion county. The 2010 census listed 45 residents in North Crows Nest.
That number skyrocketed to 46 in the 2014 population estimate. Its median household income: $132,364. North Crows Nest is west of Meridian Street near Broad Ripple and just north of Crows Nest, within Indianapolis.
