East Chicago Says it Needs $56 Million for Lead Contamination Fixes

The City of East Chicago, Indiana has responded to Governor Eric Holcomb’s emergency declaration covering the city’s lead contamination crisis. As Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Nick Janzen reports, the city says it needs over 56 million dollars.
