The chief financial officer for Muncie Community Schools has resigned two months after being hired.  IPR’s Stephanie Wiechmann reports.

Perry’s resignation comes during the same week the district’s officials are meeting with the teacher’s association.  In a state-supervised meeting, both sides will present their last best offers for a new teacher’s contract.  IPR’s Tony Sandleben explains.

Thursday’s contract offer meeting is open to the public, but public comments will not be taken by the state mediator.  The meeting begins at 4:30 PM at Southside Middle School.

See the version of Perry’s February financial presentation to the MCS Board of Trustees from the superintendent’s website.
