The White River is going to get a new look in Indianapolis. The capitol city and Hamilton County Tourism have invited consultants to apply for the job of developing a master plan for the river, from Cicero to the Indianapolis southern border. They plan to pick a firm in August, and hope to have a plan next summer. Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett says everything is on the table, from beaches and trails to a Riverwalk restaurant district.
