Rep. Luke Messer Enters Race for U.S. Senate

U.S. Representative Luke Messer officially joined a crowded GOP field Wednesday in Indiana’s 2018 U.S. Senate race. Indiana Public Broadcasting’s Brandon Smith reports political analysts say Messer faces a difficult primary path to a showdown against incumbent Democrat Joe Donnelly.

Messer will kick off his U.S. Senate campaign at his annual family barbecue.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 12 at 1 p.m. The location is  10064 N. 300 E. in Morristown. The public is invited.
