Indiana’s U.S. Senators Endorse Jerome Adams, M.D., for Surgeon General

Surgeon General nominee Dr. Jerome Adams went before the Senate Committee for Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Tuesday in Washington. Adams currently serves as Indiana’s State Health Commissioner.  He was nominated last month by President Trump. Indiana Republican Senator Todd Young sits on the committee and urged his colleagues in the hearing to confirm Adams. Indiana Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly did the same in a joint letter with Young to the committee.
