Ball State’s Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, Mark Sandy, will retire at the end of the academic year.

In an email, Ball State President Geoff Mearns highlights Sandy’s accomplishments.

The announcement was made by President Geoffrey Mearns through an all-campus email sent late Monday afternoon.  Mearns said it is with mixed emotions that he shared the news that Mark Sandy informed him that he will retire.  The email highlighted Sandy’s accomplishments and noted that Sandy and his wife will retire to Virginia to be closer to his family.

Sandy came to Ball State from Eastern Kentucky University in 2015.
