Ball State’s women’s basketball Cardinals will take on Western Michigan in the MAC Tournament at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, tonight at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN-3.

The Cards are 24-and-5 overall, and 13-and-5 in the MAC West – the third seed in the tournament.  Western is 17-and-14 overall, and 9-and-9 in the MAC West.  Brady Sallee’s Cardinals are looking to win the tournament to automatically advance to the NCAA tournament.  The Cards are said to be a bubble team to get an at-large bid if they fall short, in Cleveland.

Other MAC Tournament games today start at noon,  as Eastern Michigan takes on top-seeded Central Michigan.

Ohio faces off against Miami at 2:30, this afternoon, and Kent State challenges 2nd-seeded Buffalo at 5 p.m.

All games today are on ESPN-3.

Should Ball State beat Western tonight, the Cards will play the winner of the Buffalo-Kent State game on Friday afternoon, at 1:30.

The MAC women’s championship game will be on Saturday at 11 a.m.
