Several schools around the state have started new lunch programs for students during the summer. One in six children go hungry during the summer. Any child 18 and under can get a free meal. From sandwiches to hot meals and at least one fruit or vegetable, every student gets fed. The schools involved can be found in Marion, St. Joseph, Lake, Allen, Vigo, and Vanderburgh counties.
