Indiana’s big four college football teams are all in action, Saturday.

Mike Neu’s Ball State football Cardinals are off to South Bend to take on  8th-ranked Notre Dame.  Both teams are 1-and-0.  This is an historic first meeting of the two schools. Coach Neu says what each Cardinal has to do against the Irish is to focus on their job.  Ball State has played football several times to national TV audiences on ESPN and other cable networks over the decades, but Saturday’s broadcast on NBC is likely the first time the Cards will play football on a national broadcast TV network.  The kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.

Elsewhere, Virginia travels to Bloomington to face Indiana.  Kickoff is at 7:30 on the Big Ten Network.

And Purdue hosts Eastern Michigan of the MAC at noon on the Big Ten Network.
