Ball State’s football Cardinals wrap up their 2018 campaign, tonight, on the road at Miami. The Cards are aiming to springboard off an inspired 42-to-41 overtime win over Western Michigan, last week. Ball State backup quarterback Drew Plitt was named the MAC West Division Offensive Player of the Week. Plitt stood in for ailing starter Riley Neal against Western Michigan.
A national TV audience on ESPN-2 saw Plitt pass for three touchdowns and 258 yards. Plitt completed 21 out of 26 passes – the best percentage for a Ball State quarterback in five years.
