Ball State Football On The Road at Miami, Tonight; Wraps Up 2018 Season

Ball State’s football Cardinals wrap up their 2018 campaign, tonight, on the road at Miami.  The Cards are aiming to springboard off an inspired 42-to-41 overtime win over Western Michigan, last week.  They hope to grab their fifth win against seven losses, tonight, in Oxford.  You can see the game on ESPN-Plus.

Ball State backup quarterback Drew Plitt was named the MAC West Division Offensive Player of the Week.  Plitt stood in for ailing starter Riley Neal against Western Michigan.

A national TV audience on ESPN-2 saw Plitt pass for three touchdowns and 258 yards. Plitt completed 21 out of 26 passes – the best percentage for a Ball State quarterback in five years.
