In sports … Both Ball State basketball teams concluded their regular seasons with losses.  The Cardinals men’s team lost Friday night to Northern Illinois 64 to 57. The BSU women lost to Eastern Michigan 67 to 57.

The Ball State men finish the regular season at 15-and-16 overall, and 6-and-12 in the MAC West.  Tonight at 7, the Cards play at 6^th seeded Eastern Michigan on ESPN-Plus in the opening round of the MAC Tournament.  Should they win, they will advance to the MAC Quarterfinals in Cleveland on Thursday.

The Ball State women’s Cardinals finished their regular season with an 8-and-22 overall record, and 3-and-15 in MAC play.  The Cards also play tonight at 7 in the opening round of the MAC Tournament. They will be at 6^th-seeded Toledo. The game will be on ESPN-Plus. Should they win, the Cards will play in the MAC quarterfinals in Cleveland on Wednesday.
