Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warning In Effect Until Tuesday

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 5 p.m. Tuesday for much of the IPR listening area. Snow started last night and will return again later today, into tonight. Total snow accumulations by early Tuesday morning could reach 4 to 7 inches for these counties in and near the IPR listening area: Delaware, Randolph, Fayette, Tipton, and Union. North of Muncie, for Grant, Blackford, and Jay counties, a Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect until 9 a.m., Tuesday.
A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect from 2 p.m. today until 7 p.m. Tuesday for Madison, Henry, Hamilton, Rush, and Marion counties in and close to the IPR listening area. 5 to 9 inches of snowfall are predicted for those counties, by Tuesday morning.
County Travel Advisories – meaning some roads could be slick and hazardous – are posted as of 7:15 a.m. (Mon.) for Madison, Henry, Hamilton, and Fayette counties, in and close to the IPR listening area.
