Ball State Sports Roundup: Volleyball, Basketball

Ball State’s women’s volleyball Cardinals lost three straight sets to Bowling Green, last night at Worthen Arena. The Cards have a rematch with the Falcons, this afternoon at 5 p.m. at Worthen. Ball State is 5-and-2 on the season. All games, so far, have been played in the MAC.

Brady Sallee’s Ball State women’s basketball Cardinals are on the road at Miami, tomorrow at 1 p.m. The Cards are 9-and-8, overall, and 7-and-6 in the MAC.

The Ball State men’s volleyball Cardinals are in action, next, a week from Saturday at Worthen Arena, as Lindenwood comes to town. The VolleyCards are 5-and-1 overall, and 2-and-0 in the MIVA.

And Ball State’s men’s basketball Cardinals have been saddled with two more postponed games, this week. Tuesday’s game with Central Michigan, and tomorrow’s game with Eastern Michigan are off the slate, for now. The Cards next see game action on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at Worthen Arena with Bowling Green as the opponent. Ball State is 7-and-9 overall, and 5-and-6 in MAC play.
