Ball State University’s faculty, staff, and students are wrapping up the fourth week of spring semester, today (Friday).  At the end of week three, one week ago, the university’s trustees at their regularly scheduled meeting were told about progress in the school’s COVID testing capacities, the possibility of becoming a COVID vaccination site, and the board was given updates on some key construction projects.

Meanwhile, university officials say the school should finish the fiscal year on June 30 with a modest, positive balance in the bank, in spite of BSU’s spring 2021 enrollment being slightly lower that one year ago.

Joining us again for a Ball State Pandemic Update is university President Geoff Mearns.  (Hear today’s interview as broadcast on Morning Edition, via the audio app, below.)
