The Fort Wayne Komets return home for games three, four, and five in the ECHL’s Kelly Cup finals with the South Carolina Stingrays.

The Komets have a heavy home-ice advantage in the best-of-five series, now tied at one game apiece.  Game 3 is slated for tomorrow (Wed.) night at Fort Wayne’s War Memorial Coliseum.  Games 4 and 5 are set for Friday night and Saturday night, respectively, at the Coliseum.

By winning games 3 and 4, the Komets will win the cup.

The ECHL is a double-A professional hockey league, one level below the triple-A American Hockey League, and two levels down from hockey’s major league: the NHL.  The Komets are affiliated with the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL.

Since 1952, Fort Wayne has won 9 championship cups.
