BSU President Details The Whys and Hows of Ball State’s New Mask Plan

Three of the state’s four major universities, Ball State, Purdue, and Indiana universities now have new mask mandates in place for the upcoming start of the school year.  At each school, masks must be worn indoors by all individuals, regardless of vaccination status.

Purdue’s ramped-up policy started on Monday (Aug. 2); IU’s on Thursday (Aug. 5); and Ball State’s will kick in this coming Monday (Aug. 9).  Notre Dame is still encouraging masks to be worn and is monitoring health trends.  Masks are still optional, there, for vaccinated individuals.
