1,920 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Monday; Indiana COVID Death Toll now 14,684

The Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) reported Monday 1,920 new COVID-19 cases were tallied, statewide, with three new deaths bringing the state’s pandemic death toll to 14, 684.  The seven-day positivity rate was said to be 11.5 percent.

Delaware County remains at an Orange Level 2.5 COVID Spread rating.  The worst rating is one notch away at a Red Level 3.0.  The county reported 44 new COVID cases with a 12.4 percent, seven-day positivity rate, and no new deaths.

22 Hoosier counties have the Red Level 3.0 COVID Spread rating.  One Indiana county – Porter County – has a Yellow Level 1.5 COVID Spread rating; that’s the best in the state.  The rest of Indiana’s counties have Orange-Level 2.0 or 2.5 COVID Spread ratings.
