Ball State football Cardinals defeat Kent State 27-20; Steele rushes for 192 yards
Ball State’s football Cardinals came from 13 points down, scored 20 unanswered points, and swapped fourth-quarter touchdowns for a 27-20 road win at Kent State Tuesday night.
Ball State sophomore running back Carson Steele had a stellar night, rushing for 192 yards on 29 carries with one touchdown. Steele has gained 100 or more yards three other times this season.
The Cards are 5-and-4 overall and 3-and-2 in the MAC West. Ball State needs one more win to become bowl-eligible.
Next up: Another road game – this time its Division-leading Toledo, next Tuesday night.
