Ball State’s football Cardinals came from 13 points down, scored 20 unanswered points, and swapped fourth-quarter touchdowns for a 27-20 road win at Kent State Tuesday night.

Ball State sophomore running back Carson Steele had a stellar night, rushing for 192 yards on 29 carries with one touchdown.  Steele has gained 100 or more yards three other times this season.

The Cards are 5-and-4 overall and 3-and-2 in the MAC West.  Ball State needs one more win to become bowl-eligible.

Next up: Another road game – this time its Division-leading Toledo, next Tuesday night.
