Ball State’s 43rd annual Unity Week begins
The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday sees the start of the 43rd annual Unity Week at Ball State University. Unity Week offers discussions and interactive information on solidarity in a changing social climate, inclusivity, and diversity
Student organization leaders and Ball State staffers have organized the week whose activities are open to all. The Ball State website says Unity Week remains dedicated to unifying the Ball State community through enlightening social, cultural, and educational events.
Below is a list of activities for Unity Week 2023:
MONDAY, JANUARY 16:
- MLK Celebration Breakfast at 9:00 am Student Center Cardinal Hall
- MLK March at 11:30 am Start at the Student Center
TUESDAY, JANUARY 17:
- MLK Speaker at 7 pm Chloe Barnes Pruis Hall
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18:
- Disability Services Training at 3 pm Forum Room
- Samuel Sirmons Speaker at 4 pm Unified Media Lab Art and Journalism Building (second floor)
- Queer Monologues at 8 pm Pruis Hall
THURSDAY, JANUARY 19:
- Asian Student Union Sushi Night at 5 pm Multicultural Center
- HRL Habitat for Humanity Service Project 1-4 pm
FRIDAY, JANUARY 20:
- Latinxpalooza at 7 pm Student Center Cardinal Hall
- Friday Night Film Works at 9 pm Pruis Hall
SATURDAY, JANUARY 21:
- Beneficence Leadership Conference 9 am-3 pm Student Center
