Ball State’s Multicultural Center announced a week of events to promote inclusiveness and diversity.  The slate of events begins today (Mon.) at the Ball State Student Center Cardinal Hall with the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast.  The breakfast will also be livestreamed at www.bsu.edu/live.  Because of extremely cold weather, the annual Dr. King march scheduled for this morning has been cancelled.

Other activities this week include a disability justice workshop in the Student Center Forum Room, Tuesday at 2 p.m.  Later, Tuesday at 7 p.m., the week’s keynote speaker, Brandon Allmon-Jackson will speak in Pruis Hall.  Allmon-Jackson is a New York-based Assistant Stage Manager and an alumnus of Ball State.  His remarks will include points on social justice and supporting diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry.  His address will also be streamed at www.bsu.edu/live.

The week’s events will conclude Sunday with the Black Student Association Unity Pageant at 7 p.m. in Pruis Hall.
