The Indiana Pacers are two wins away from their first NBA Championship Title.

They beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 116- 107 last night in Indianapolis in game three of the NBA Finals.  Both teams fought hard, each leading at different points during the game. In the fourth quarter, the Pacers took the lead and held it until the final horn.

Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle says the team’s determination going into the final quarter was critical.  “I just was proud of the way we bounced back from a rough ending to the third quarter. You know, that was something that could have shaken us up a lot. But the guys that went back in there to start the fourth just, they just, they kept their head down and kept competing.”

The Pacers now have a 2-1 lead over the Thunder in the finals.

Game four is set for tomorrow (Fri.) night at 8:30, in Indianapolis.
