Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler announced Monday night that he will seek a second term in office. The Democrat says he’s proud of the improvement in the city’s quality of life, but that he still has more work to do.

Tyler says he will officially file for the 2015 election on Wednesday. No Republican candidate has come forward to challenge Tyler yet. Messages left for Delaware County Republican Party Chair Will Statom were not returned.
