Sen. Braun Discusses Healthcare And Education With Ball State President

US Senator Mike Braun (R-IN) spent Wednesday afternoon with Ball State University President Geoff Mearns. The university says the two discussed topics including secondary education and healthcare. While on campus, Braun visited the new Health Professions Building on Riverside Avenue.
“This is one of the fun parts of being a US Senator – actually seeing what happens in the real world. Whether it’s visiting schools that educate the next generation or visiting all the entrepreneurs and business owners that make this state a good place to live.”
Mearns says Ball State regularly reaches out to people who have an interest in what’s happening on the campus.
On Friday, Ball State officials will break ground on a new science building that will sit next door to the new health building.
