Shreve and Wirth to face off in Indiana’s 6th Congressional District

Republican voters in Indiana’s 6th Congressional District chose incumbent U.S. Representative Jefferson Shreve in the primary election. He narrowly beat challenger Sarah Janisse Brown. Democratic voters chose Cinde Wirth, a scientist and teacher who spent time as a congressional legislative fellow.

Indiana’s 6th Congressional District includes 11 counties across central and eastern Indiana and cities Greenwood, Columbus and Richmond.
